my guess is the market has advance notice that the NZ Commerce Commission (NZ ACCC equivalent) is about to wave through the acquisition by Verifone. That is the key execution risk to the deal in my view and likely factor behind such a large short term SP movement. But I’m often wrong so take it with a grain of salt!
