new mangament appointments

Did anyone read about the new Chief Operating Officer appointment today?

It seems his expertise and experience has been large in the geospacial industry, and is obviously been made to support the expansion of nearmap.

Now, did I miss something? I could have sworn that we, the shareholders, has not yet voted to approve the $16m purchase of nearmap, and have had precious little info on nearmap on which to base a judgement.

Don't get me wrong - IMO, ipernica is amazing value at current prices.

But do you get the feeling that shareholders are being treated like mushrooms, and that management take the view that we will get what we are given?
