Howdy and thanks for your time and efforts to explain how and where you come from and where you think I come from.
I'll only give a brief as I have to get to our new build, much to do.
From the time and leaving of Jesus, the Apostles were not teaching, preaching a Trinity God and what they taught is in the inspired words you say your forefathers put together. So if your forefathers were Trinity minded, then that CLEARLY shows, they did NOT know what they were compiling, hence they were simply the tool, vehicle that God used to get The Word out there.
You say the likes of, it's my rose coloured glasses giving My interpretations and I say, NO it is not, it is the OVERALL message these inspired words produce. And most of you will Not and cannot counter what I place up, USING these inspired words and you have Clearly shown this by suggesting, we cannot rely solely on these inspired words = Translates to, we cannot trust God.
I will give one clear example to show what I mean and this example, YOU will not be able to discredit FROM the Bible.
The Thomas creation; My Lord and My God. Now lets US let the Bible tell us, exactly what Thomas is drawing upon for saying this.
John 14:5 & 10 -> Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me,hedoeth the works.
Who is this Father -> John 20:17 - I ascend to My Father and Your Father and to My God and Your God. =The God and Father, the Almighty God and Father.
So quite clearly, Thomas now understands ALL that Jesus told him was true and now standing before Jesus, He address's him as Lord as he previously did -> My Lord and THEN, My God, referring to none other than the Almighty God and Father that he NOW knows, is dwelling in Jesus.
God and Jesus there before Thomas. And not a 3rd one, a god the holy Spirit, which IS God as in singular. ------------
The Almighty God and Father was dwelling in the Temple, Jesus. We are to be the, or a Temple and as with Jesus, that does not make us God. The Glory = The Word = the word of God filled the Temple, just like; Ex 40:34 - Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of Yahweh filled the tabernacle. (John 17:22 Confirms Glory being the word of God).
How is God dwelling in Jesus -> Spirit the God is = The Holy Spirit and His words are also Spirit as well as light. Spirit the Holy, Word the Word and light the light dwelling in Jesus without measure.
(John 12:49 - He was Given the word of the God and Fathers, they are Spirit John 6:63 of which he got without measure John 3:34 and they are light Psa 119:105). Spirit/Word/Light without measure. ----------- So, you say it is through my glasses, the Thomas matter is only one example of many, and there is NO way it is my glasses that's producing what can ONLY be seen, when the whole and short Truth IS included.
You cannot refute this Thomas example with these inspired words.
But look at the crap many produce on this Thomas matter ex - 1. Jesus didn't correct him = nothing to correct. 2. Jesus blessed him = He did NOTHING of a sort, in fact the opposite, as he said blessed are those who believe and yet not seen what You Thomas saw (well, that's the results, meaning of the message). 3. Jesus is, was the God being referred to here = rubbish was he.
