Hey morganp, I suspect you are on the money. Likely disappointing quarterly after hours Friday followed by a gee up of the troops before open on Monday, hoping the punters will bid it up, or at least not trash it.
On the bright side, there does seem to be a transfer from punters to instos. Witness the 220,000 trade today was not a cross trade, therefore I'd read likely multiple sellers to one buyer.
If instos are buying that's gotta be a good thing.
