Hi guys, not impressed ATM. I bought into the 98 plantation. Have just received an interim payment for part of the harvest. Proceeds for the harvest so far amounted to $1126. Yair, ok it's only part payment BUT then they sting me for expenses of harvest, haulage and chipping and sales, this amounts to $589 which leaves me with a "staggering" $485. If this 52% loss is applied to the rest of the harvest there's not much left for Johnny! I have no idea how much of the woodlot has been harvested, they won't say but I have been offered $5k in their half valued shares. Either way it seems a loser to me.
