But if you bought in early 6 or 7 years ago as a long term investor & were backing a group of highly credentialed people like Chris Mackay and Hamish Douglas you might have a slightly different perspective. Buying a big stake below $8 and holding has been the best investment I made in 25 years. They have looked after my money and continue to do so. Reputation is everything and shareholders are foremost.
- Yep they hold a lot of shares but they backed themselves at the start when they had big gigs in corporate life. - So are they tall poppies because they have been successful. If you met them you would not think so. - Hamish Douglas drives an old dual cab to work, done so for years. Hardly big egos on show. - Magellan has also low industry overheads. A very scalable model that they set out from day one.
They will continue to provide returns to all investors.
