Ya have to be more multi-dimensional these days than being just buy & hold guy or a trader guy.
Different stocks demand different strategies and so do different phases in the market cycle.
Lehmann Bros have been around for 150 years ...... that has surely got to give the purely buy & hold brigade something to think about !
When the market is more like a casino, the longer you sit at the table the surer it is you'll walk out empty handed.
