I prefer to listen to real experts like australia's chief scientist who clearly suggests australia should not paint its self into a corner regarding coal.As he suggests the common sense approach is diverse energy production including coal,but obviously let developments in energy evolve.
NASA is no different to the WTO that still says china is a developing country and still pays china $1b pa plus developing country status which has massive benefits.
NAS,the WTO,UN,fed reserves, etc etc r politically controlled organisations,i prefer individual scientists opinions and the facts when presented on a spread sheet ie without the bs.
