Ah - worked it out - a new format for reporting futures - giving absolute rather than relative values - or just the yahoo site stuffed up and set yesterdays value to zero (almost correct!)
I reckon this is now the bottom - how much worse could it possibly get - two financial houses crash - only one more to go and that is already factored in - Merrill and Bear Stearns both sold for a song - Fannie and Freddie now safe. Oil crashes to lowest level this year and is no longer a drag on the economy.
What is there left to spook the market now? What is still left to fall?
Any thoughts?
