yes heedlespage and @vmp, as @anatol says, why the rush with the interim MRE? Why not wait another 4-8 weeks and provide a final MRE figure? This is not what a company would normally do in my experience. The only logical reason is what anatol said. They have one or more entities wanting to make an offer ASAP, an interim MRE is all they need and I don't believe LTR can provide an interim MRE to an interested party without releasing it to the entire market. I would also suspect that LTR wants an auction here ASAP. I might be wrong but the interim MRE only makes sense to me in light of the above scenario. There appears to be a rush and waiting a further 4-8 weeks is not an option I would suggest. They have enough to make a deal and flush out the suitors and now is the time. As I have said before there are similarities to how the WES/KDR deal unfolded. Let's hope the same price matrix also fits. The one thing I cannot pick is whether an offer will be only for KV or whether they will want to swallow all of LTR . Timing is everything.
