what did they value those "liquid" asset prices on? Maybe they should try to sell some and see if they get a buyer.
Did they deny they need to re-finance?
as previous poster said, big problem in trusting anything management says. They have been caught lying so many times.
Last year they all said "we don't have any exposure to sub-prime".
