This is a non-issue now because the original 'mistaken' article has been amended, correcting the mistaken reference to 'anode'. So there are no 'inconsistencies'.
However, I find your knee-jerk accusation of lying to be pathetic and insulting.
I do not and did not lie.
I made a simple error of recollection. I read so many articles - most in English but I also browse Korean and Chinese newspapers by entering key words in the GT search engine.
Most of the Chinese and Korean journals I access through GT. But some have English language versions like Aju Business Daily, which I posted the story from yesterday.
After receiving the highly offensive post from flippa, gratuitously, accusing me of not understanding the difference between 'cathode' and 'anode' - something gleaned from his very superficial and sardonic interpretation of the post - I responded in the way I did, forgetting that the article was an English-language version and not a GT version (and co-incidentally similar to GT versions in the confusion between 'cathode' and anode').
A simple error on my part but an error with no possibility of being misleading because it was obvious, to anyone who knows anything about Ecopro, that they only do cathodes.
As I said above that mistake has now been amended in the original article as follows:

SEOUL -- EcoPro BM, a leading producer of core materials for secondary batteries in South Korea, secured a four-year deal worth 2.74 trillion won ($2.08 billion) to supply key materials for electric vehicle batteries to be produced by SK Innovation by the end of 2023.
EcoPro BM said in a regulatory filing on Monday that it would provide "high-nickel NCM" cathode materials to SK Innovation's electric vehicle batteries at home and abroad. NCM refers to nickel, cobalt and manganese.
EcoPro BM plans to build a cathode plant with an annual production capacity of 26,000 tons for SK Innovation (SKI), which has stepped up efforts to expand the production of batteries for electric vehicles through facilities in China, Hungary and the United States. SKI's U.S. plant will be built in Commerce in Jackson County, Georgia.
German auto giant Volkswagen has selected SKI as the fourth strategic supplier of battery cells to cover its demand in North America. SKI was selected to provide batteries for the first batch of Hyundai Motor's all-electric crossover utility vehicles installed with dedicated platforms that can run up to 500 kilometers (310 miles) on a single charge.
