In the past 2 years, UCM has done extensive ground work, scaling up their manufacturing facilities, expanding and consolidating their presence in China, achieving NMPA approval and on the way to achieving other approvals. Also the Beijing-based Mr Meng joined the board. They are thus as well-placed as can be hoped to meet need for USCOM 1A's should it arise with the novel Coronavirus outbreak. It would be nice to have more information regarding the virus, though. I wonder how long we'll have to wait.
