What will be really interesting is whether any seniorstaff/management/Directors/Chairman now announce a significant on marketshare purchase.

Mike Jefferies was a very experienced company director ex Ron Brierley/GaryWeiss team, and in my (unskilled) opinion appeared to be very conservativein his approach (financial, accountant background). But he has been working on Boards for very many years, and I think that the reasons stated - him cutting back on his workload, sounds very reasonable. And it sounds like the Board made a succession plan some time ago.

However, I have always been a little concerned that Directors hadn't ever bought into the company. Nor senior staff.

Personally, it looks like Wayne Zekulich has plenty of skills, (and WA contacts) that PNR needs. And managing Gindalbie's finances will have taught him what we don't want !
