The sun does shine at night, somewhere else.
See the point about the solar powered clock (stick) not working at night or inside.
Used to have a fold out 'travel clock'. It was clockwork, haven't seen one for a long time. Now have a phone nearby at all times that does all manner of things including being a clock.
