Updated Shorter chart with latest T+4 data from shortman.
Aggregate short sales down slightly = 18.13% @ Feb 3rd, 74,230,735 units.
Note that the short data lags the sp data by 3 data points in this chart (sp data shown up until yesterday).
The abnormal correlation of short level and sp since early Jan continues!?!?
Very interested to see what the shorts did next (Feb 4th & 5th)... did they shoot upwards too, or scramble for cover?!?!
We'll need to wait til next week to find out!
