@JustIntonation Maybe if you only consider the purchase of shares on market, but you failed to consider off market transfers which would be more tangible in this case imo.

Your idea of an entity that is pursuing a take over would bother sitting at a computer hitting buy orders on shares at market rather than going direct to large and long suffering share holders and offering them a way out of this disaster probably says enough about your discussion

Even the most loyal of long term holders will at some point reach a point where they are feed up IMO-

For example an offer of say .006 per share x 2.8 Billion ( lets be generous here) = 2.8 billion x .006 = $16,800,000

At .006 per share , which is generously 6 x today's market rate the Indian entity would have change in their pocket from the circa $30 M to actually build something.
