Absolutely no comparison. Lehmann didn't have the money to operate within their markets - no operations means no profit, sp falls, finance rating falls, funds are even harder to get, counter-parties will not deal with you and BANG, you go under.
Centro are still paying their (now exaggerated) bills. They have long leases and high (enough) tenancy rates.
I'm not certain under current conditions what the banks will do, however at this point I believe Centro still has the edge and the banks will probably extend - for how long and under what conditions are the real questions.
