Of course I don’t know how long funding will take to secure. I’ve had ”approved” funding deals take many months to get final signatures. Who knows.

My issue is with peoples’ inexperienced criticism of the company’s effort and capability, which assumes (or directly states in some instances) that JZ and co are somehow incompetent and/or somehow allowing things to drag out for far longer than they actually need to be.

To these people, I ask:
How many mining ops/companies have you worked on on/with? In South America?
How many millions in funding have you secured?
How many JV deals have you secured?
Etc.

Criticism is fine, but crossing the line to have no professional respect for what the team has achieved and is achieving is downright nonsense imo. It reflects an inability to recognise and understand the complexities of the negotiation process, potential hurdles and various factors at play.

I don’t give them endless time to sort things out, but I’m far from ringing Jerko and “complaining” that they are going too slow. I would look like a fool.
Not knowing the detail and various issues does not simply enable one to assume that there aren’t many/any, and conclude that they are p!ssing around instead of progressing as rapidly as possible.

We all want it done sooner. I get it.
Reality gets in the way. Tough.

Contact Jerko and enquire about the issues. Do it. I’m sure you’ll learn something. I’m not concerned enough to do that yet. I might in a month or two if we don’t hear anything in the meantime.
