You are entitled to your view and you are free to sell the whole lot if you are so disillusioned.
In fact it would be good for you all the other people who do nothing more than complain to do likewise
and we can have our capitulation event and move on.
CTP is hardly a dividend grade stock and it is what I would consider highly speculative. The point about
the debt level made by others is also an important factor in my view but guess what - lenders are still willing
to support CTP and so its credit credentials can't be all that bad and isn't that a clue about CTP's prospects?
As you know the potential of this kind of stock is to quadruple and more if the right event occurs. That's why I hold it.
Not for bloody dividends.
Invest in the major banks if that is what you want - healthy return and franking credits to boot at least until the pollies
wake up to the cost.
CTP has arisen from the ashes since the RC days and it now has a meaningful cash flow and a pipeline into which it
can pump more gas when it secures more deals and proves up more reserves.
The partnership with IP validates the potential of CTP. IP has committed $20M cash to explore and gain
the use of gas and so they obviously have confidence that CTP has good acreage that could deliver that and is a
company that has the skills to develop any new sources. The first foray was very positive.
I'd like the SP to double & triple like everyone else but what happens this year might just be the catalyst for that.
And maybe not - this is the share market after all and nothing is guaranteed.
