I’ve only been around PET since July (buy at the peaks, that’s me), so I don’t know if Norway has been approached, or figured into PET’s intervention. I just stumbled across a New York Time article dated May 2019 describing the problem of algae in Salmon farms. It was interesting as the gent they interviewed was resigned to the fact that, “it’s not possible to stop it...humans can’t do anything” hmm, I thought..
I’ve gone through periods of doubt in my brief period of owning a lump of PET’s shares, mainly due to the fact that they are reliant on government’s initiative to commit to such a treatment.. not the experienced management. Norway from my readings in the past (Trillion Dollar Baby) seems to have a responsible governance and ecoconscious system after all their riches in the oil game. I read it ages ago, the book, so am only left with a good impression not facts sorry.
There was mention of Finland here recently, but has anyone heard Norway brought up. There seems to be no problem finding the algae, just the governments that aren’t apathetic, from this outsiders point of view.
Not as simple as that? I don’t know, it’s not my field of experience but that quote above interested me.
