Correct, WBT will be a very slow burn, but when it takes off, it will really take off. I have full confidence in the calibre of the board that they have attracted to date. To be honest you couldn't ask for a better board for a company like WBT. They have immense experience in the semiconductor industry, and best of all, working experience in dealing with Chinese companies and the intricacies that come with companies that are keen to rip off the technology at the first chance they get.

Coby made it very clear today that this is front of mind and that they are taking every precaution to ensure that this does not happen. He stated that their team were instructed to never let the chip leave their sight and this for me is somewhat reassuring.

Coby also highlighted that China is starting to realise that as they move from a developing country to a country that is creating their own IP, that they are starting to realise the importance of IP law, and are cracking down on rogue companies that flaunt IP laws for their own benefit. How true this is anyones guess but it will need to happen at some point to avoid capitalism cannibalisation where everything is simply up for grabs. China after all is intending to produce 80% of all the world's needs and they won't be able to achieve this with adequate enforcement of IP laws so it does make sense, but scepticism is always advised when it come to China and the motives of the communist party. The good thing is the WBT board know thy enemy and appear to understand "The Art of War." Easily Googled for those playing at home.

Whether you like it or not China will be a dominant power over the next 50 years simply due to their investment in industries like semiconductors. Western governments are are too short term to have the foresight to provide incentives to truly build a competitive advantage in this space, so WBT have the right focus in targeting this region ATM IMO.

Of course this may change at any point, but being a small company, WBT will pivot quickly and change course as need be as we have observed most recently.

With regards to timelines, I've resigned to the fact that this will not happen overnight, but it will happen, kinda like a Pantene promise, but when it does, strap in, it will be a crazy ride!
