No one ever counts the less obvious subsidies for renewables.

What about the grid upgrades that are needed because of renewables. What about the big batteries that need to be added to the grid but were never before needed? What about all the interconnectors that have been added with more to come? What about the pumped hydro that you guys say are needed?

All of those things are subsidies because the grid would fail without them.
