I dunno could very well be us fund but one must think the pittance they would get back on CMR now is hardly worth the effort.

Why woulg the chinese make offer now when if left they can get it cheaper. Gotta check my facts but does it mean a coy goes into recievership if its stock price falls to zero or does it mean the take overer just gets it cheaper.

From what I saw today she was deliberatley sold dow - wether that deliberacy was to bring peice down or to get rid of stock I cant say but my gut feeling says if I wanted to shift 100k of stock I would not just sit in int the line (unless I had arranged a nod and wink with someone to take it)

Anyway - I reckon there is a hell of a lot of dodgey stuff going on in the market today - not sayin cmr is one they are playing with but I watched the xjo seemingly pushed down as hard as possible - bhp all and cpl of others followed - is aristocrat dual listed? - If so then they can short it I think

But unless my platform was playing up the o/night dow equivalent was ticking up and showing no signs of issues while the XJO was being hammered down hard from just after 2pm pushing it down from about 4915 to 4882 until she bounced back up - over same time from about 2.15 or so BHp was driven down hard from 38.10 down to 37.39 and ALL from about 7.24 to 6.89 - looks to me that they found how to short again
