This type of tragedy happens far too often...who knows how often the same story plays out in the US or UK or anywhere else.

These type of blokes seem to have the attitude toward a woman of.."If I can't have you nobody can". No one can see or read this sickness I guess...
This morning the talk back shows were full on of course calling in alleged experts from all fields for their "opinions". There are non stop calls to stop the violence against women...and kids one hopes.
But that is just a pipe dream...as long as humans walk the earth there will be hatred and violence toward one another. They do say there is a fine line between the emotions of love and hate.

To call for people with thoughts of violence to go and speak to a Councilor, or seek help is just plain silly imo. Yes by all means spread the word, but the people that have these thoughts are obviously imbalanced and certainly wouldn't go and see a shrink.

We can only look out for each other, if we suspect there is potential of foul play we should call it out...if we can. Though in this circumstance the woman had moved away, with the kids for a reason...for the fellow to ambush them and do what he did would unlikely have been foreseen by anyone.
We tend to not believe that some one would do this to their own kids, let alone the person they loved.

It makes me very sad to read of this sort of stuff...sad for the women's parents especially, as they have lost their daughter and three grand kids...how would that change your life?
