    Just looked it up:

WA Government $200K (EIS towards drilling costs)
Federal Gov CSIRO $50K (dedicated to CSIRO science only - no money for drilling)

ARV balance of a budgeted $1.4M for 3300m hole, but they ended up drilling two holes for 1348m and 790m depths, so a total of 2138m at say $420 per metre = $800K - $900K

Still struggling to see the relevance of anything at 1700m or at 3200m depths - at those depths anything other than hundreds or thousands of grams of gold per metre is totally irrelevant unless they can trace it from near surface to those depths. If they were looking for pathfinder minerals or elements or identifiable geological units then that could all have been tested at shallower depths where the unconformity is closer to surface and doesn't require outlandishly deep drill holes to prove the geological or geochemical relationships.

Hit the sold button on nearly all ARV as soon as the proposed deep drilling was announced. Thankfully.
