    Why would they do that??

Does the world need a 3rd source of lithium??

We have hard rock, brine & now LPD brings a 3rd source lepidolite.

If the world's largest players in the lithium industry are struggling to sell the already abundant supply of spod, why do we need a 3rd source?

    Price I hear you say?

LMax is yet to be proven on an industrial & commercial scale.

On paper it sounds great, in reality we don't have a clue what a full scale LMax plant is actually capable of.

    Time?

IMO a P1 plant running at 100% capacity is at least 3 years away (it could be more). The hard rock & even brine producers could easily beat LPD products to the market soaking up any left over demand.

There isn't a shortage of lithium resources, it's actually one of the most abundant elements on the planet.

GXY has a stake in LPD, she hasn't done a thing about it in over 2.5 years. Now you want RIO & BHP?

IMO, if BHP & RIO are scouting lithium investments they would look for....

    1. A producing mine.
    2. Proven track record in regards to delivery & operations
    3. Already paying customers.
    4. Approved financing.
    5. Secure assets & investments.

    Does LPD have all that??

P.S. do some research into Desert Lion & Karibib.
