Yeah they don't exactly sell the sizzle. As I've said previously once that DC capacity is increased from 10 MW to 43 MW we will see a gradual ramp up of DC revenues to around 4 x the current level & it will likely form the majority of MAQ earnings.
When you look at other DC plays like NXT they play it very differently in terms of promotional & growth hype; and they trade at a P/E which is multiples of MAQ.
We could probably list the things that MAQ could (and maybe should) do to maximise the share price:
- Sell the sizzle.
- Establish ourselves as a tech stock rather than a telco & gain entry into the new ASX tech stock index.
- Probably a 1:10 share split would also help a great deal, get the old "double banger" effect of greatly increasing market liquidity as well as getting the share price down to $2.80 - in my opinion she would then set sail for $5.00 in a canter.
I'm not realistically expecting any of these things to happen & I'm very happy with my investment here but the potential on offer seems somewhat untapped at this stage.
