hi guys,
my hearing has been put back to 27 feb.
had a mini hearing on Fri. the member (judge) wanted to meet me as she was not satisfied that i knew fully what was going on. (she was right) i think i conducted myself pretty well considering i still have not been given my diazapam. the member asked why was i shaking and i explained the situation she made a directive for jon papalia (government solicitor for immigration) to contact serco and reinstate my meds immediately. still has not happened.
anyway, now i am somewhat familiar with the surrounds, i feel a little better, although apparently i am going to get grilled on the day.
i was told at the hearing that the people who wrote me character references needed to be available by phone on the day. the mayor of geraldton wrote me a glowing ref and he said he would make himself available even tho he has meetings etc. i have also included in my statement of facts one of my posts from here and how most of you guys are supporting me. i am beginning to think i may even have a shot at this. they seem to be basing their case in the fact that i am an unacceptable risk to the community. in which case i have proven them wrong by living a blameless life for many years.
there are others in here also like me caught in a trap when they changed the laws in 2015 and restropectively applied them.
