    Hello dear HC followers,
I have been viviting Stella and return to all your protesting posts..many of which show that you have NOT been following the threads here very closely...
    Jenx in reply to
"Noticed that OCV is not mentioned. Surely if there were shorters with an open position it would be there. Any ideas researcher?"
YES OCV WAS ON the SHORT list...BB and I discussed it.
It was in the millions I think but not an enoormous number.
Not enough to explain 100million in one day but that list does not have to include the brokers...I believe..
    They are the big traders.
I also worry about the requirement for substantial share holders to post a "CHANGE IN SHARE HOLDING" does that mean they can buy and sell and if the final holding NO does not change they do not have to disclose to ASX?

A reply to Jenx again...News on CVCs profit position was reported in the financial review and it was small..just over $1mill from memory..
PBL owned by CVC and CMH was also under a cloud..I will ellaborate later...also in AFR on the same day.

All this uncertainty as to who is bailing out who might drop something into OCVs lap...as OCV is in pole position for Stella interests and that could make itself more attractive to a merger etc etc.
That IS IF anyone is trying out there?
The team at Stella seemed pretty happy to change masters and might like to stick with PE CVC until they start to reign in costs.

The business model existed for ages and with slick marketing golf sponsoring etc attracted plenty..
Like ENRON getting into that ASX 200 list was a target to allow margin lending to occur...I think.
It had to grow continually and it depended on the inflationary momentum to increase profits from asset sales and that all stopped very quickly about August when the credit crisis emerged OS..YES I agree with your disgust and then some, thats related to Stella, but after learning from HC I still hold the opinion that the company was profitable but purposely cut "short".

    Then ask who wins?

Too many questions remain unanswered...and the banning of short selling globally has to tell you something is rotten in the markets..

It had to threaten capitalism before anyone was brave enough and desperate enough to try to stop the rot..
even though many products involve ss and many will protest because they will lose ...the rot was SS.

Many months ago I posted a thread on MFS
I want to hammer the short sellers....
    It had to be done!!

I am rushing this post..its just to say Hi ..I am back to find out more and chat. so DYOR IMHO.
