The way I see it, there could be any amount of outstanding shorts not neccesarily listed as per ASX shortsell list.

There could be any amount of shorts, still open, not reported, from CFD backed shorts that have not been closed.

Some CFD suppliers use physical stock to back either long or short positions and presumably they also did not have to be closed if the were already in place before Mon 22nd ban.

For any such positions still in place, after the action this week, they must be feeling the blowtorch getting closer each day.

Dont you feel for them ????
