short selling reforms too late for mfs and ocv, page-26

IF ANZ held about 27 million MFS months after the halt
and was of the opinion that they had a waiver to exclude them from disclosing substantial shareholdings...
I wonder how many MFS did they or brokers hold BEFORE the selloff and were any traded or short sold in the selloff?

If more than 10% of companies capital WAS able to be short sold how many of MFS could have been traded??

MFS traded 100 million shares ..1/4 of the company.. on one day.

Very few shares changed hands according to anns of substantial shareholding changes..
I think Merrills announced about a 8 million change in their holding..
I cannot access the MFS anns to be more accurate.

Reforms are too late for MFS/OCV imo.
