This announcement is not about the main drilling campaign at Kat Gap (still underway), but is reconnaissance drilling to test the potential length of the strike. Provided the mineralisation is continuous along the gap between these holes and the current Kat Gap drilling zone, then we've got at least 1.2km of high grade near surface gold strike. I also liked that the geologists did some reconnaissance along strike between these holes and the main Kat Gap area and observed quarts outcrops the whole way, which they said there is no reason why there shouldn't be gold mineralisation present given the gold is hosted in quartz veining on the granite contact.

That is a huge confidence boost to the future prospects of Kat Gap.
