No not that impatient and i understand it is a genrational investment, i am just keen to place some money for longterm growth somewhere other than a bank or hard to access fund, if ever i wish to draw upon it.
The chart i looked at was a 10 year chart, not 6 months.
These questions still stand if you have the patience :)
1 The capital growth or dividend, does it outweigh the SP drop ? Is that the point ?
2 At some point the SP should become a concern, right ?
I agree the SP is probably at a heavy discount and represents a good value and place to start, but like anything why pay more than you have to at entry, or why hold something that on the surface is loosing value if you where to sell it.
They are probably daft questions but nevertheless i am not a finacial expert, more of a nuts and bolts guy in industries i understand. ie Aviation or commodities for their simplicity.
So if your willing i am all ears.
