I still don't understand the reaction to COVID 19 and the incredible sell off in world markets.

Compared to this new virus: at least 29 million people in the U.S. have experienced flu illnesses this season, the CDC estimates. About 280,000 people have been hospitalized so far, and an estimated 16,000 have died, including 105 children.

COVID 19 doesn't even come close to the effects of seasonal flu - and there's a vaccine for flu.

For now, imo, this is a gross overreaction and the markets on realising this will rebound just as dramatically.
