It wont be the auditors who are under pressure. It will be the board, who will need to justify the carrying value of its assets based on Future cash flows. If the entities are loosing money, it will be a hard task to justify carrying values. Result would be write-downs of those assets.
The auditors will merely comment whether the company has complied with the accounting standards.
I'm afraid when the board does this, it will make the current share price look very good.
