Not being a medico, my assessment of the virus is probably not accurate but it seems to not be much more lethal than a bad flu season
what is different is the worlds reaction which must be decisive until we are sure about the scale of the problem
This has resulted in lockdowns causing much reduced production and commerce. In turn the market is concerned that profits will be impacted for some time to come,
Once the virus has passed there will be a substantial recovery time for profits and share prices
i am not worried about prices dropping - it’s what the stock market does. if you have cash there are some major bargains to be had on the share market. I have two stocks that are nearly in my buy price range.
