Sjkasx in relation to your comment last night;

That is inarguable and yet the times are a-changing - according to Joe Lowry too.

In that ‘virus’ podcast after the battery conference in Japan, Lowry said he agreed the tide was turning, then basically said in his opinion raw material prices might skip along the bottom for the next two quarters which wasn’t good for new producers.

As I understood it, he also said;
-things could change swiftly, and even a little price improvement would help a lot.
- lithium prices going up would not necessarily feed down the line to raw materials suppliers
- and the 600,000 tonnes plus of 5-6% stockpiled spodumene he was reliably informed is sitting around in China would probably take China six to eight months to get through.... BUT China also exports it to Korea and Japan.

And that wasn’t so negative ... especially in the light of Alex Cheeseman’s comment the same day that discussion at the conference had been contradictory but his well informed source says “ demand is definitely on the rise”

Then Joe just concludes saying he learned a few things but he keeps some of his knowledge secret unless you pay him, and that ‘pressured listeners know what I am talking about’.

I may not be pressured enough, but I don’t..... except he is implies people should sign up for paid content to get better information and reinforces this advertorial the next day saying his podcast has been already been downloaded in 80 countries.

So did I miss the bit where Joe Lowry implies doom for Altura because of my confirmation bias?
Even if AJM is going into VA, I don’t think he would be able to inform his paid subscribers before it has been officially announced?

And does anyone know how much SC6 is stockpiled in Japan and Korea?
