Great to hear from you Tim, would have preferred to under different circumstances but your input is always valued so please don't be a stranger to the forum.
Given the bombshell we were delivered on Friday, only around 1% of shares on issue changed hands today. I would have expected a much higher number than that and given we finished at 15.5c it would seem that not to many put much faith in this LNG9's "offer" that Vesey was so pleased to announce.
I'm sure that Seth Klarman would have pulled Vesey through the telephone wires by now. Would have loved to hear that conversation. Even after selling down a bit late last year, his fund still holds 56.7million shares which I think averaged out at what, $2.00, $2.50 each? Whatever the case it's over a hundered million bucks worth. I just can't see him rolling over and saying, yeah, thanks Greg, great work by you and your overpaid staff, I'll take 13 US cents for them now. I think that if there is any hope of resurrecting this Company with current shareholders as the primary concern, it lays with Seth Klarman and Baupost. First order of business would be to show the B.O.D. the door.
I live in hope though it's probably misguided.
