Death rate if you are between 70 and 80 yo 8%
Death rate if you suffer cardiovascular disease 10 .5 %
Does anyone on this forum fall into those cohorts ?

If medical facilities are overwhelmed the general death rate rises substantially .
Look at the death rate for Wuham , people were dying in the streets .

This is a very serious Pandemic and all of the professionals in this field know that .
We are only at the beginning of its spread world wide .
The numbers it has killed so far are relatively small compared to other diseases in the world but they will grow , yes exponentially .
A lot yet to be learnt about this virus but to say that it is just sensational media scaremongering is not dealing with reality .

If it was to mutate like the 1918 Spanish flu did into a more virulent disease the world would be in real trouble .
