“Ferrous impurities” where is %s??, page-101

I worked just under a year for WMC back in the late 60's doing IP work (nickel exploration) up around the Albion Downs sheep station, driving up on a Monday morning (usually with a hangover!) and returning 12 days later to Kal to collect my pay and for a bit of R&R! Sometimes the three of us in my crew would stop off for a beer at Leonora, but there wasn't much else there open apart from a few shops and a servo. Just before reaching town there was a road off to the left which went up a hill, past an old aboriginal shanty town and led to the 'Sons of Gwalia' gold mine, which back then had been mothballed for many years. Going back to the subject of KV, I always thought it was further north towards the Albion Downs sheep station, so can any one clarify just where is the location of this huge resource - any help would be much appreciated.
