kieranmcs. Yes CNX have teamed up with IPL for ammonia based products as well as Lyondellbasell for methanol etc but in the short term (next 6-12 months) they plan to build a power station for immediate revenue etc (why waste the syngas). This was confirmed when I last spoke with Andrew Dash.

6-12 months, small scale power station plus carbon capture and storage strategy.
1-3 years, meduim scale chemicals production
3-5 years, world scale ammonia and chemicals production


The CNX machine is like a snowball effect. It just keeps building and building. You got to walk before you can run.
