Hi - I have been busy, but not really busy with actual 'doing' things but have had an emotionally taxing time - am o.k. - also made the stupid mistake of watching too many war movies on SBS and feeling for everyone involved, but also know it is a useless emotion - useless to them and to myself - so again - I did a fair bit of soul-searching and reading, discovered a good author, found a few books on my extensive book shelves I need to re-read, played with new gardening schemes etc - and today I began 'gardening' again, as the leaves keep falling and falling.
So here I am again, and need to comment on Dunny Paper:
My friend J. rang me this morning (and I also conversed with NoBoDe) - some of you have met 'J.' he was the grey-haired (formerly curly and blond) bloke who knew about Aboriginal fire fighting practices, anyway he told me a joke; - he surmised the reason why so much toilet paper is bought - and it is a world-wide phenomenon - is that people want to wrap themselves in toilet paper in fear of catching the Corona Virus

Is this a vital addition to the rumours, surmises, guesses, instinctive fear reactions in which the world abounds?

I think, yes; just think how many kinds of deaths we ignore: more people die daily world-wide from
car accidents,
murders
domestic violence
simple flu (especially the elderly)
etc. etc. than the Corona Virus.
Please keep it in proportion! Keep safe, maybe don't go to a cinema or theater for a while, but I will go to a market on Sunday - an open-air market and will stick to my usual shopping routine - I won't invite an elderly chronically ill husband of a friend (she is my friend, he is an ill-tempered ......@!^%$) and please keep your sense of humour intact. Even if it turns into something more dangerous, staying at home, getting enough rest, eating well - keeping well, if that is possible, will help keep your emotions in check . . . . and check in from time to time, which I am doing right now.
Go well
