Heard some frightening statistics from someone who use to work in Centrelink. Something about key performance indicators and instruction to wean 60% of their 'customers' off the dole. If this economy thing gets worse, there will be more and more cut backs and that 60% could look too soft.
Get a job soon, they look like becoming scarcer....just get one that is kinder to your back, cause the aging baby boomers is going to put pressure on the health system into the future (even in a good economy).
It's time to toughen up. Good luck in getting another job. Take care of yourself...... carers may get pretty thin on the ground. Crikey, maybe Western families might go back to caring for their own.
