this is one thread that seems to have sense in it- if the fat cats go down- then their companies go down, ppl's jobs are lost, mortgages can't be paid- small business go under- etc etc- those 5k worth of signatures one congressman voted 'NO' because of- I bet now those 5k who signed the petition are seeing what it means to their economy and the rest of the world and are wondering why he voted NO, and the rest of his consituents are ready to lynch him.
