Yep, Iraq is F*cked either way.
But I'm not sure the solution is to cut and run.
We made our bed, and HAVE TO get the wrinckles out of the cover before we leave.
Otherwise the debacle will be seen as a huge DEFEAT, and an inspiration to defy to others.
Can you see any chance of order being restored by handovertime in June?
I cant see even a glimmer of hope at the moment.
It is fait accomplis that the various ethnicities will slaughter each other on departure of the coalition.
One will become dominant and enslave the others.
Only Saddam could hold them together, by tyrannical means. Is it too late to release him and let him sort the mess out? (lol).
Or do we resort to his tactics to bring about a fragile peace? Thus becoming as tyrannical as he was?

I have no solution, Yak, but I feel the Iraqis will be doomed to being worse off than they were before we intervened.

    Cheers
    GZ
