Here's my tips on how to save money:
1. eat less food (saves on grocery, butchers, etc charges and doctor's bills coz you won't have any obesity-related diseases
2. go to the flicks on Tuesday, old people's day
3. re-cover and re-spring your favourite old lounge suite, rather than replace it (too expensive) - will look and feel like brand new
4. don't put money into bank account as the interest rate will then turn to a negative one, and banks will charge you for holding your money
5. if you don't drive much find an insurer which charges on the basis of how many kilometers you drive per year
6. cancel your private health insurance like everyone else is doing, particularly if you don't have joint problems, you aren't going to get pregnant, and your teeth are trouble-free etc.
7. when power company writes on your bill that you are not on the lower rating possible for your useage, ring them immediately and get your $58.44 per year saving (lol - yes, true story, happened yesterday).
8. ignore the vast number of stars on your dishwasher and wash in your smaller sink the few dishes you have, left over from the night before
9. buy and eat the best quality chocolate because, without good food, you can't keep up with your money-saving methods and smile at the same time
10. as in 9. above, ensure you buy the freshest of roasted coffee beans so they can be immediately ground at home just prior to pouring the boiling water from your kettle on to them.
Buy a lovely new dress if you get invited to a party. Well, that's what I am soon about to do.....lol
