If you look at the major falls on the XJO on the chart below I've marked the preceding rise A and B followed by a fall to C. The low (C) after the GFC was a 66% fall of the preceding rise. The following 3 have all been very close to a retracement of 60% (would have been nice to see it come out at the magic Fibonacci 61.8% - but it's close). Those who believe past cycles repeat then a 60% retracement of the last rise would suggest a bottom to the current fall at 6,109. Next week could be the end of the freefall (I hope).
