AFR article is just a ramp. Meaningless in my opinion. No PE fund is going to get pension fund backing for a wine company heavily dependent on China with the Coronavirus going on. I work in the industry, it won’t happen. You’ll find most PE finds have 50-80% pension fund backing through minority global investments from each. They can’t get board sign off or even internal sign off for reckless investments during a crisis.
This stock, like others, are worth more. This is just a crisis. I’ve already burnt a lot of capital buying in the last 2 weeks. Albeit small TWE buy. Just stagger buys as the indices fall 15, 20, 25% etc. Basic strategy stating none of us know the bottom including the highest paid fund managers in the world, contrary to their bs sales pitches.
I cracked my first bottle of 2014 St Henri from a case I got last year. Mays well enjoy them given Corona is going to kill us all according to the markets!!!
