Good outcome for long term investors in BBC - will have a comfortable balance sheet position, no links to BNB, solid future earnings and a new name (fresh start?). However, there will be lots of people who bought BBC in the hope of a quick turn from a takeover bid. That exit strategy is not going to be available so they will sell on market. Should create good buying opportunity for long term investors in coming days.
